How do I find and or reset my password for my wireless network with Linksys router?

Log into your router. To do this you first need to find out the IP address of your router:

Go to start
=> run
=> type "cmd" w/o quotes
=> press OK or enter
=> *black window comes up* type ipconfig and press enter
=> look for default gateway
=> go to start
=> run
=> type http://*default gateway ip* and press enter
Ex: http://192.168.1.1 then log in.

Default for Linksys router is no username and admin as the password.

Then go to wireless
=> wireless security
=> here you can change the WEP or WPA code or even see what it is currently.

If you can't get into your router, because of a bad password press and hold the reset button on the back of the router for 15 seconds. It will set it back to default. If it is a Linksys router the username and password is UserName = **blank** (nothing there) and Password = admin
